....K. I don't know why it's such a big deal, 'cause it's only part-time, but....

Oh yeah! I DO know why it's a big deal. Probably because I graduated a month ago, have applied for a gazillion jobs (only doing what I want to do though...hey, I didn't go back to school to work in a factory again, right???) and haven't had anything yet. Well, Tuesday I got called for an interview for a company that's a really good place to work...especially for around here.

She (interviewer) said she went through the resumes she had on hand and only chose four of us to call for two part-time postions. To start out, it would just be doing data entry using Access, and some weeks would be full-time hours during their busiest times, and other weeks just the part time. No benefits for now though, but I don't even care. 0 hours per week at 0.00 bucks/hr. isn't bringing in much at the moment, so anything beats that, right??? ;)

It's a BIG deal to me as well, to be doing something I LIKE to do...and I would be with this company...so I'm hoping. The interviews were only supposed to last 1/2 hour, but the lady and I got on *really* well and chatted for nearly an hour, and I went to school with a lady (only in her early fourties and she's been there 20 years!) who is a dept. manager who had told me when I applied there to put her for a reference...so I did. That can *only* be in my favor.

So...wish me luck if you would! I would appreciate it. :) M.

ETA: On a happy note, my old boss (where I worked in the factory for nearly 8 years and didn't enjoy it at all!) called and asked me if I could come in for a few weeks to fill in the other day. (their busy season)...It felt soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking good to say NO WAY, NO HOW, UH UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh!!! There are a few jobs in town I know I could get at the drop of a hat if things got desperate in another couple weeks and I HAD to...but it felt SO good to tell them to go STICK that job finally...waited almost the whole 8 years to be able to say that! Although...I was quite nice how I actually *said* it...'cause I did like my last boss a lot, just hated the job! :)

PS...for anyone who might have read the medical thread I had a week or two ago. Still feeling pretty rough...have a urinary tract infection (sorry if that's tmi for some) and has about gotten to the kidneys...which could be causing some abdomen pain the doc said...am on a couple different meds for that. My CT scan results aren't back yet. M.

Awww, you're the best, Luz, thanks!

You won't believe this, but I am just *sick* about it! I still have hope to find it, but I took the memory card out of our camera because it got full...once it's full, I can still take some pics on the regular memory of the camera. They were going to walk back down the aisle (after the ceremony was over) so I was in a hurry...I popped it out and just set it on the next chair over by my purse and the program....I forgot to pick it back up (I think! Haven't found it in a pocket, in my purse, OR in the camera bag yet!) when i got up and it must have fallen on the floor. Corey was done with school yesterday but he went up to the auditorium today and scoured it. It was a *great* program and I took a vid of him walking up the aisle when they went up on stage (to the song, "Do I Make You Proud by Taylor Hicks..it was cute) and TONS of pics of him and all of his classmates.

I had my grad pics on there too, but Craig had already offloaded them onto his computer so no biggie there...but I couldn't care less about getting a new card or whatever...I just WANT those pics of his 8th grade grad..only happens once...sheesh. Makes me ill. Going to keep looking for it...If I find it, I will post some...otherwise, will post a couple from him opening his gifts for his bday later today. They are still on the camera, so have those. (he got a port. DVD player from us and a Man U duvet cover from his G&G in England...lovedddddddddd it!!!! ) :)

Thanks again for the wishes...you're such a sweetie, Luz! Still loving the US??? Hope so! HI to Gary and Robin too... :) M.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

After all that typing, and Corey going up to the auditorium and looking and the flipping out about it...I seriously just found it! I thought I would give the camera bag one more look even though I "knew" (shows how much I know!) it wasn't in there...there is a little mesh pocket on the outside..well, I thought the pocket only went as far as I could see the mesh(a little square on the front of the bag.) It actually extends downward where it is all covered in black (not mesh) in a rectangle shape...I happened to turn the bag upside down and it slid down to the mesh bit where I could see it.

Long story short...I found it! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT! :P Pics tomorrow! :) M.

Michelle, I hope the interview will go/did go well. Re: the medical stuff, I hope it's just UTI. That hurts but in the end isn't so bad once it's cleared up.
