Hey all!

I entered the united states the 31 july,

We will get married the 4th October,

Can i already apply for SSN?

i was worried about marrying in october since my visa will expire the 28th october, but if i file right away the wedding should be fine?

We are starting today preparing all the papers that are needed for the AOS

You can apply SSN anytime, the sooner the better.

The visa expiration doesn't matter. The I-94 expiration is what matters.

You need to get married and file AOS before the I-94 expires.

You can file for your SSN right now without issues.

It is what it is. Just try to get it file as soon as you can. If you run a few days past, so be it.

I have another question if someone will read this, but for apply for the SSN there will need my fiance too with me?

She's at work right now, and her mom would give me a ride to the office this morning, was wondering if my fiance has to be in person with me in order to apply for the SSN
