I doubt they're bored enough to go through a hundred pages of conversations between two lovey doveys. Even carrying those huge files is an unnecessary torture.

Agree: quality >> quantity. Nobody's going to go through hundreds of documents. They spend minutes on each case.

So just the required documents + proof of meeting like passport stamps, boarding pass, flight and hotel receipts and reservations?

For Manila that's fine. Frontloading relationship evidence  isn't needed or beneficial.

 

For certain difficult consulates, adding key evidence items is generally considered beneficial because the CO may review it before the interview.

Absolutely! You can include one or two pages with a few pictures printed on them, if you feel like it, but even those are NOT required.

An unbelievable 287 pages.   I left nothing to chance and included several pages concerning my income, letter of introduction,  names and other misc stuff.    A lot of documentation of the visit and just about any thing I thought that would prove we have a meaningful relationship.  Over kill, I am sure it was.
