Joaquin Castro outed his own donors in bid to shame Trump supporters

EXCLUSIVE: Trump donors whose names and employers were posted in a highly controversial tweet by Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro blasted the Texas congressman on Wednesday for what they described as a “ridiculous” stunt and, in interviews with Fox News, rejected his claim that they are “fueling a campaign of hate” against Hispanics.

One of those Trump donors even revealed he's also been a supporter of local Democratic lawmakers—including Castro himself.

Wayne Harwell, the owner of a local real estate development company whose name appeared on the list Castro shared on Monday night, told Fox News in a phone interview that he donated money to Castro’s congressional campaign. But he suggested that after Castro outed him in a bid to shame Trump supporters, he won't be supporting Castro anymore.

“I was also on a list of people that gave to Castro and if he dislikes me enough that he wants to put my name out there against Trump, I’m not going to give money to him,” Harwell told Fox News. “Obviously Castro feels pretty strongly against me.”

There was only one purpose for what that Castro fuzzbrain did:  to incite the whackjobs to intimidate, harass, or assault those who were outed.

His action is having the reverse effect:  people who weren't previously considering donating to the Trump campaign now are.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Those of us who donate to the President's re-election campaign are happy to have our names associated with it. Castro soiled his nappy and considers it a strategy. Honestly, the Democrats are so inept at this, that Mr. Trump could probably win re-election without even campaigning. (not that I recommend it... but he probably could!)

But I thought money is speech? Why should people be ashamed of what they're proud to support? I mean, if you looked up my donations from the 2016 election, you'd see I maxed out for Hillary. I'm not ashamed, and people have the most horrible things to say about her, the craziest conspiracy theories.

From your posts, I got the impression your ex-husband leans conservative, and that you were a housewife. How did your ex feel about his financial support of Clinton?

How many people have been physically attacked, publicly harassed, booted from restaurants, and censored on social media for supporting her?

I think the issue here is more of the context with which the Castro brothers were acting.  So after two tragic events that the Dems are doing their best to Blame on President Trump, they decided it was best to put targets on some folks back.  I am certain the names listed were not all of the Trump supporters, I wonder how many Trump donors in San Antonio are of Latino heritage?  In several cases, these guys donated to both parties, which is quite common for business owners, why didn’t the Castro brothers inform us that they took money from them as well.  I hear there is a movie coming out soon where a bunch of woke leftist head out an hunt deplorables.  And they say President Trump is divisive.

So as a Hillary donor, are you fine that some of that money was used to collude with the Russians?

Btw, I am a proud deplorable.

I wouldn't say it was *his* support directly. We had a joint account that I could use for personal expenses, and I drew on that. He generally didn't pay much attention to that account since it was really only for things like my gym membership and whatnot. Since I had the authority to spend the money as I wanted, I spent it as I wanted. And I thought it was important, more important than getting another body polish at Spa Montage, to support a candidate whose views were more aligned with mine than Donald Trump's. So I don't know how he feels, because I don't know if he ever knew.

Call me old fashioned, but if one partner is the primary "bread winner," political contributions should be agreed upon, not secretly slipped under the door in the dark of night. It's probably none of my business, but you seem to have kept many secrets from your ex. It's always unfortunate when a relationship ends, but it seems to have been preordained.
