Hey David!

We have the exact same timelines. Did you get any updates yet? This has been quite a wait and I guess could start getting more and more frustrating. BTW are you planning to expedite the work permit? Also, its good to see plenty of people on the same boat... It gives you more strength to be patient.

Hey!

I totally agree that its somewhat comforting having people in the same boat as you. I actually called USCIC this morning after people on here saying that they have done the same and got results. The woman I spoke to was super kind and helpful but told me basically what I already knew. She also stated that the wait time for AOS in my local office (Baltimore) was 34.5 months which is just crazy to me!

I don't think we have any grounds to expedite the process as we're not financially in a bad place etc.

How about you guys?

8-22-19 Filled for AOS/AP/EAD.

9-1-19 Received NOAS.

9-18-19 Biometrics apt.

9-25-19 Fingerprints Review.

12-22-19 RFE

1-8-20 RFE Received

1-24-20 Ready to be scheduled for an interview

2 -12-20 EAD Card is Being Produced

Today I got my interview date on the mail. Apparently I need to bring all the supporting documents I already submitted, but we didn't make any copies 😭

I know on some of mine it states "Unless already submitted". Thankfully we took copies, so I'm still going to take them with me as I don't trust them but...hopefully that makes it a little easier for you to compile!

Most of all, goodluck! :)

It maybe insanely crazy, but just think. If it is >24 months then you skip the conditional and receive 10 Yr LPR :) Which is a small plus. I obviously hope it isn't that long for you and that the EAD/AP are quick, but!

Hey David,

I called the USCIS office too.. They told me that the case is still pending and under normal processing timelines (fair enough!). I hope the EAD gets approved sooner than later. Not so concerned about the AOS. But, 34.5 months is kinda crazy.. But as Luke mentioned, you wouldn't need the conditional GC and can get a 10 year one.

As far as expediting the process is concerned, I don't think we are in a bad place financially too. But, I have a time critical job offer and an additional income would add some stability for someone living in Manhattan :)

That’s about right for being scheduled then My dates are 10/17 for received and 11/1 for scheduled. Depending on your field office, you might well get your interview date next week :)

Just checked online and saw that my status had been updated to Interview Scheduled on 5 NOV (from Interview ready to be scheduled as of 2 OCT).  Once I receive the notice and interview date I'll update.  This is out of the Des Moines office.

At this rate, my wife will have her green card before receiving her EAD/Advance Parole...

@LukeU - wondering if you could provide the date your letter from Detroit was postmarked? I’m trying to collect data for other Michigan filers :)

thanks!
