I guess I'll start.

 

Well, I used to be a July filer ( sent package a week ago) but due to my mistake to not put enough postage on it) USPS will return the packet to me and we have to send it out again.

Luckily we have a second packet on hand so we'll send it out by the end of the week. With enough postage. 😂

08/26/19: received extension letter in the mail

04/28/20: case got transferred to my local field office in Atlanta

05/28/20: New Card Is Being Produced

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

I suggest sending it USPS Priority Mail......which is flat rate for up to 70 pounds........and trackable.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Good idea, it's what I used, but from some of the posts recently, 70lbs might not be enough from the amount of evidence some people want to send, I have seen some posts where a freight quote may be in order. Old Dominion, or Saia is the way to go for freight. LOL.

70lbs worth of evidence is crazy.

My packet weights less than 0.5 lbs and we have all the evidence that we collected over the past 2 years.

Hi everyone, I will be an August filer too, got about two weeks left to go. I received my reminder letter last week. I am checking over everything and just finishing off the cover letter. :)

USPS Priority Mail Express is what we're doing.

USCIS should get it on Monday.

Hello friends!! Apparently there are two aug 2019 threads. I'm replying here but maybe they'll get merged eventually.

 

I digress!!

 

My husband was able to apply at the end of July but we've been slow and meticulous with our packet so hoping to mail it within the week.

08/26/2019: Check cashed 
08/29/2019: 18 month extension letter received 
01/08/2019: Biometrics completed
 

Naturalization

Yeah we got RFEs before so hoping that reading the fine print and being really detail-oriented will play out in our favor.
