hello, will the original affidavit of support be required during the interview in the embassy or a copy will be sufficient?

As long as the affidavit was printed and physically signed in ink, a photocopy or the original will both be accepted.

This is embassy-specific. So refer to the checklist your embassy sends you and if that one says "Original affidavit of support", then you'll need to provide the physical document the sponsor signed, a copy will not suffice.

thanks but embassy in beirut is not clear on this matter

A copy of it will be okay as long as it has wet signature. I verified with the embassy before my husband's K1 interview.

I’m a little confused. My petition just got sent to US Embassy in Lebanon. I am the sponsor. Do I submit my affidavit of support and financial documents to my fiancé in Lebanon or to the embassy???

So I send my financial documents to my fiancé in Lebanon? Department of state website says it goes to NVC. That why I’m confused lol. When will I get instructions from US embassy from Lebanon??

For a k1, nothing goes to NVC
