I have my visa medical coming up on August 5th and it says to leave a 5 day gap minimum in between the medical and the interview. I'll most likely schedule my interview for the week after but my i-797 form says...

Notice Type: Approval Notice

Valid from 04/09/2019 to 08/08/2019.

Consulate: LONDON

Am I going to be okay going to an interview after August 8th? What do I do?

Any help is appreciated!

Most embassies can extend the validity of the petition for up to one year.  Contact the embassy on this.

Have you read your K1 instructions from your embassy's website? They answer that question specifically for a London interview.

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/

Scroll down the list until you find petition affirmation.

Tip: Leave more than 5 days between medical and interview. More like 10. That 5 days hasn't been true since Jan 2018.

Tip 2: There's a UK forum on here where you will get London specific information for medical, interview, return of passport type queries. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

Amazing! Thank you! Sometimes it's just right under your nose.
