What is normal time for cr1 process

I know it varies case by case, but about how many months usually ( a median no) it is taking ,from filling i130 to interview, now a days.

  Just want to have a rough timeline in head that how much more we will be apart.

That is just for USCIS time.  Add on a couple of months for NVC

Because you don't have country in your profile, or a timeline,  I'm not going to guess about the consulate.   That can be a month to 9 months.

well i filed the i130 july 2018. it was aprroved march 2019. since then we have been at the NVC stage (todays date in july 2019) so take that into account.

It depends quite heavily on what service center your case is sent to, what country you are interviewing in, how prepared you are, and if you are a USC or a permanent resident. If you end up at Nebraska (slow) and you're in Mexico (long wait times to get an interview) then it could take around 24 months. If you end up at Potomac (fast) and you're in a country with virtually no wait to get an interview, it could easily be less than a year. I believe the median right now is 16-18 months (though if you are a permanent resident you'll need to factor in the time it takes for your priority date to become current into this estimate).
