Cr1 visa, administrative process, help!!!

Hi guys I need help here. My best friend went in for an interview on 14th May 2019, they gave him a slip to submit his divorce papers from previous marriage n his school information to clarify his date of birth. He submitted everything on 28th May, till now we haven’t heard anything from them. Case still shows ready. It hasn’t changed since we submitted. Anyone here know what’s going on?

Status may change to administrative process (AP)

That is open ended to do checks 

security checks is the normal AP but your friend submitted documents so they will be checking to verify them

AP can be days,   weeks or months 

your friend needs to wait as all of us have done

is this for a K1 or CR1?

it helps to have the person create their own account and do a timeline

It’s cR1 visa. We check through ceac. Where can we open account?

She meant for the "friend" to open an account here on VJ, as it is sometimes difficult to communicate second hand info back and forth in a way that is helpful.

So you got approved on your interview ,and it still says ready on your status ? and you still havent gotten your passport?

My friend was asked to bring some documents and submit her passport too she did all that but till now

Sorry Nikelr I dint understand you clearly,what other reported fie private information, like what are they looking for?

I dont know if the co approved me or not,and she didn't collect my passport,she just gave me white slip 221g and she mark in there administrative processing

Well one thing is sure if she didn’t collect your passport, she hasn’t approved you yet. Hope they ask for your passport soon. Good luck.

They have to collect your passport. My friend passport was asked to be submitted.

I reported your post because you put your what's app phone number on that.  Don't ever, EVER put your private information on a public forum like that.  Anyone can access these forums.  I also moved your thread to the appropriate forum.  I was not replying to your thread other than to tell you what I had done.
