Interview today. More evidence requested

We did have plenty of proof of cosponsors income at the interview.  The first window actually said she didn’t need paystubs etc as w2 and letter from employer was sufficient. 

I can see why you are confused. Beyond being nervous at the interview it would have been prudent to have clarified this at the interview with the CO but I wasn't there so I'm Monday morning quarterbacking.

I am just curious if this is going to set a precedent. Greenbaum has seen it apparently, but I haven't in my time here.

They have requested form I-864, I-864EZ or I-864w

Yeah, we know, which is why we're trying to figure out why London of all places is requesting it. Going from no I-134's to requesting I-864's is a big swing. I told the OP to send an inquiry.

I believe it was India and about a month ago.  221g for i864 after presenting I-134.  Surprised the heck out of me.

Crazy. I wonder if this is going to become a thing in cases where the doubt in the CO is too large. Like in my husbands case, we had to provide two cosponsors, three total I-134's since they didn't feel too great about my job history. I wonder if we had done it now if it would have just been I-864's instead.

I think it's still too early to draw any conclusions from this. It could be any reason that a CO could ask. Maybe new to their position,  maybe to cover their southside who knows their motivation.  We'll just need to see how this plays out. But I sure would like to see a copy of the 221g before i comment specifically on the case.
