Hello, I have just begun this process for myself and my fiancée (yay! I can't wait) and I have a few questions about the filing of the I-129F Form.

(1)  First, she is currently at a university dorm and may be moving from there when she graduates in late July.  She also said that she wouldn't trust packages to arrive there.  My question is whether she could use her parents' or her aunt's address as her mailing address to receive correspondence.  Her parents are 4 hours from the capital (where the Embassy is) but it is technically her permanent address.  Her aunt on the other hand, lives about 20 minutes away from her dorm.  Do you know if either can be used?

(2)  Second, she said she cannot remember the exact dates when she moved and when she worked, although she remembers the month and year.  Could that be a problem with the application when it's reviewed?

(3)  Finally, in regard to the letter of intent to marry and her passport picture, is she required to send me the originals? Or can she print, sign, and then scan the letter and email it to me (and same with the picture by sending it digitally) and then I can print them and send them in? That would significantly shorten the time until I submit the application.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and respond!  I can't seem to find a clear answer to these questions.

1. just use her permanent address..

2. i dont think it will.. 129-f is basically about you(the petitioner) not about your fiance or your beneficiary so no need to worry about it for now.. but by the time you are approved, thats the time she needs to fill out forms where her work..etc.. is asked.

(just put her permanent resident, doesnt matter if she is staying in dorm as long as her address on her ID's are her permanent resident.

3. what my fiance and i did..he emailed me the letter of intent which he did then i printed it out and signed it and then scanned the signed document and sent it to him via email.. and i sent my passport picture to him via email also and the he just print it out.

so yes! she can print, sign, and then scan the letter and email it to me (and same with the picture by sending it digitally) and then I can print them and send them in.

1- her address isn't as important as yours initially. You will be getting most of the letters and NOA notices, etc, so she could use either safely I would think. My fiancee got a post office box for a year in Thailand because it was so cheap, and we used that address for her as it was very reliable and she could check it on the way to work, but it didn't really matter until she was ready to get her passport back after the interview.

2- my fiancee also couldn't remember exactly to the day for previous employment, and we ballparked month and year and had no issues, they never even asked about it.

3- we did the same thing with the intent to marry letters, filed with the scanned copy, and she had an updated original for the interview that she never used as they didn't ask for it. She emailed me a few photos of herself in front of a white wall, and I made them into passport size photo easy online and printed them at Walmart. Fit 6 on a 4*6 photo print. No issues there either.

I would original letters of intent and also passport photos along with relationship letter thats signed.

i had mine sent from tirana overnight express.  I received the letter within 24 hours for under $50.  DHL and UPS are in tirana, DHL is more expensive but better then UPS.  Both reliable.

i ship many things to albania including remote villages,  albanian mail is actually reliable but sometimes slow.   DHL is what the embassy uses and they normally ship stuff to a specified cafe in tirane where you can pickup the package.   DHL will find you or work with you.
