Awesome! We hope you don't get any RFE as well..matter of fact, everyone hopes they don't get it! As for the prima facie document, do you benefit from it? If yes then go ahead and request it as they may or may not send..wish you all the best!😊👍

Thank you. I’m trying not to think about it honestly. I know I have at least a few months wait so I’m patiently waiting to get my approval. At least I can work in the meantime.

I will know my faith on my interview next week if they will hold the case or send a denial notice. @sandranj if they send a denial and we continue to work under cancelled c09 ead and the employer doesn’t know about it, will it affect the vawa case or subsequent i485 adjustment? Thank you!

My lawyer and I asked the IO to hold the case but I was told that in their office they can’t do that so they have to deny mine. You will receive a letter of denial and it’ll say there that your EAD under C09 will no longer  be valid. IMO, I would not use it because it’s  breaking the law. Plus, I already have my SSN you know how that works.

Look on the bright side at all times! Some officers hold the i485..others don't! Go with a positive outlook! You just never know! It ain't over until it's over! I pray it's held! Goodluck!🙌🙏😊

And also concerning your EAD, do not under any circumstances work if your i485 is denied by any chance..it automatically nullifies your permit! Doing this will jeopardize your chances adjusting status in Trump's America! Be guided!

I also have a question in this regards in case anyone had similar experience. I overstayed my status for over 10 years and worked all the time because the employers didn't care about my status. So my concern is, what to say at the interview if i am being asked? It's not like i was claiming i was a US citizen when applying for jobs, i was just providing the SSN and they were fine with it. Thanks.

I can understand your anxiety but you're only tormenting yourself over something that doesn't quite change anything! Go easy on yourself..I believe someone here already told you they at one point received a denial letter, but today they are awaiting their VAWA approval here in the USA! It don't matter what the letter says..you'll still file your vawa and by God's grace you'll be approved! All of these uncertainties will be behind you!

Thank you dear. God bless your soul for those uplifting words.

If file VAWA 360 485 concurrent filling then unfortunately gets denied will USCIS put the applicant into removal proceedings immediately? I mean will the denial letter and NTA letter come at the same time?

I am curious how long we have to wait for NTA letter? Theoretically in order to prevent NTA, we can re-apply VAWA 360 485 again the next day we get the denial notice to stop unlawful presence clock

Hello Folks, I have a weird question. My i485 case status changed to this details since April 2018. I called the number that the website gives to me, then the customer service said my case cannot found at this time. And I checked new website(my.uscis.gov), it showed “case was received”. I’m confused about it. It is so weird . Does anyone have the same experience? Please advise. My vawa approved on July 2019. Thank you very much!

This has happened to me b4, it was very scary that I called USCIS,  I thought my spouse had withdrawn my case, and the USCIS customers service connected me with am immigration specialist,  and he was the one that assured me that my case is still in tact,  that it was an error from USCIS system....

Hi, I overstayed too but like 5 years. I didn’t use any SSN. My lawyer before told me that immigration can forgive us working under the table as long as we don’t falsify documents. My question is that, did you mean you’ve got TIN? or really SSN? As far as I know, isn’t SSN only for people who are here legally who can obtain that and TIN is for non-legal individuals? How did you obtain SSN if you weren’t legal yet at that time? I’m just curious, let me know how it goes.
