NVC stage is one where being proactive by initiating contact with the NVC can have the effect of reducing the processing time

being proactive , yes,  but after only getting the NOA2 15 days ago?

it may not even be at NVC yet

30 days after i would contact them if the embassy case number is not received

We didn't call .. had no need for the case # .. got NOA2 on April 29th and NVC wrote email and send to embassy on May 28th. Think we would have wasted our time calling so we didn't bother doubt ut would have gone faster since the timeline seems the same wether you call or not

this fb group never mention about being proactive instead they clearly wrote after 15 days from noa2 start calling nvc for the case number it sounds ridiculous to me so i ask here before i could say something about it..and i always recommend this site to the members of that group whoever sent me a message but they just seems lazy to read and educate their self and they prefer to ask stupid questions from that group and most of the time base on my experience it doesn't make sense..i was thinking to quit that group 😅😅😆

If you have the case number not sure why you would need to call
