POLICE Certificate rejected at NVC

Hello

i just received and email from the NVC and our police certificate was rejected. Does anyone have a sample of what it is supposed to look like? My husband said that is the one they provided him. I’m freaking out it took 6 weeks to get. 😭did he not go to the right place ughh help

Assuming your husband is an Indian citizen living in India, did he get the PCC from the regional passport office?

  • All Indian nationals aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police clearance certificates from the Regional Passport Office.

Spouse:

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

But he followed what they told him to do. He said it wasn’t the local police station and they did national PCC . Where would he go for the passport one ..we had checked sites before ...ughhhh I’m so sad 😭 

 

he said ...My police station and then I went to national wise police station

Visit the link @WeGuyGal provided and follow the instructions. He will need to pay the fees (Rs 500) and take an appointment. The PSK will let him know when he will be able to collect the PCC. Some people are able to get it on the same day they have the appointment whereas some others take a while to be issued.
