Hello ,   my brother just finished his H1 visa interview as visitor . The consular took his passport and no decision is taken.  He  told him  that we gonna reply to you within 2 or 3 days . Is that mean visa approved ??

Any comments would be highly appreciated

your heading is the "consular took my passport"

and you say his passport in the Post??????

Another case of OP not keeping his story straight throughout the thread 😂

It's B1 visa . My  brother is a dentist,  and he applied to attend  a course in los Angeles.  What i meant with the papers is bank statement  and invitation from the course hosted doctor . Thanks

Hello guys ,

The pervious case number was the old one . I just double check my visa status online by putting the new case number . It says " Application Recieved " . Interview was very good and consular said everything sounds ok and he kept my passport. Screenshot_20190528-112103_Chrome.thumb.jpg.ca4ec04025e811d5d22edb31b1629616.jpg

Thanks for all of you.

I thought, from past posts, you were already a US citizen?

Well your post is very confusing.  First it is regarding your brother, then the language you use makes it sounds like it is for YOU.  It is an H1 visa, then a B1, but posted in the student visa section.

Also, there are no documents (bank statements?) required or accepted for B visas, which are visitor visas and adjudicated solely on the merits of the application form and interview.

If you can at least get your story straight, you will get more helpful responses.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but the consular officer taking your passport is not always a visa approval. At this point, the only thing you can do is wait until the status in CEAC changes or they notify you of action. Good luck.
