F2B timeline (unmarried adults children of LPR)

I learnt that the average waiting time for F2B visa is 7 years,  but most times I see a lot people who get their interview dates way before that time frame.  Some 4 years,  others 5 years.. Why is it so??? 

my PD is March 2015 and according to June 2019 visa bulletin , I still have a 1yr 10months to wait unless my category continues to move at its current pace or even more then my remaining wait time will be lesser

where? the average time is over 6 years for the interview. 4 or 5 years lately, or even more,  has been the i130 approval, but then the i130 goes to the nvc and the second part of process starts. then, once the case is closed you need to wait until the priority date is current

My i-130 was approved and sent to NVC June 2015

I haven't seen anyone with an F-2B petition get an interview in less than 6 years following their priority date, but maybe I missed seeing it. I know there are quite a few people here with priority dates in 2012 still waiting for interviews.

No-one can get a visa until their priority date is current. At present (well for June so next week), for most countries the current priority date will be 15 May 2013. So call it 6 years. I guarantee you there is no-one with a 2015 priority date busy interviewing for an F2B visa.
