Same!! So exciting!! I know that others sent in their P3 without physically receiving it in the mail. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Is that what you all are going to do? I’m comtemplating since P3 can take a couple of weeks to get in the mail.

I've read that once you get a second or third "ready" on CEAC you can try sending it in! Worth the try! If it doesn't work they just email you back asking you to wait.

Also, did you receive an email from NVC with your MTL number when they sent it out to Montreal or did you call them?

Congrats!! Based on other timelines and what I've read, I'm going to give it about 10 days and then send my P3 if I havent received it by then!

Ok. My status has been “ready” since yesterday (first thing in the am). I might try to send P3 next week and just see what happens. I’m just unsure about the P3 available online because it says 2016 on it. And I called NVC to get my case number 2 weeks after it left USCIS, then I tracked it on the ceac website. I seen that it was in transit Tuesday morning then right after I received an email saying it had been shipped to the embassy in Montreal. Then yesterday morning I looked on the Ceac website and it showed “ready”.

Perfect! Great idea, I think I’m going to do that as well. Are you going to send in the 2016 version that’s available online? Or do you have a more current P3?

My fiance and I both received the email the day they were sending it out with our Case #. We never did receive anything before that from the NVC confirming they had received our petition, so I happened to call for the Case # the same morning we got the email it was going to Montreal 😂 The fellow I talked to was very polite and helpful and took down my email, as they only had my fiance's on file.

Yes I was just planning on using the 2016 that's available online! I have not seen a more current one.

Hey all, I did my DS 160 yesterday. Just curious, as far as fees/payments go... when do we have to pay fees? Do we only pay a fee when we get to the embassy or do we have to pay anything online before then?

You'll pay on the site where you book your interview. It will ask for a payment before it let's you see or book available interview dates. It's a very easy process, it makes you go step by step.

You can pay with cash at the embassy but I don't know how to skip the payment online and I've heard paying at the embassy is its own nightmare.

Does anyone have a copy of the P3 / P4 that is more recent than the 2016 one posted online?

Got my fingerprints taken at the downtown Toronto Commissionaires today under the Privacy Act. The guy that did it was very well informed and he said I should get it in less than 2 weeks if I've never been arrested before.
