Hi jslekcun

Do you happen to know if you oath ceremony is administrative or judicial? My wife has her interview on October 3rd in Raleigh. We want to process a name change for her but in order to do so the oath ceremony will need to be held by a judge (judicial). I don't know if and when Raleigh has that type of ceremony and if we could go to Charlotte, just to speed up the process.

Hello and Goodmorning ,

In my case im not requesting for a name change so im guessing its a administrative oath ceremony. I had my interview sep 12 and my status changed after few days to "we mailed you your oath". All the best to your wife's interview.🙂

I'm not requesting any name change either, but my ceremony is taking place at Courthouse and is held by judge...

Okay thanks for the information , so it is possible that it could be a judicial ceremony..My  oath Ceremony is taking place at Charlotte office.

My stress is raising every day, it's been 110 days since bio and processing time in San Diego area increased up to 15 months. Although my wait time decreased from 2 months to 29 days, I don't know  how accurate is my estimate time

Received e-mail today that interview is scheduled,  waiting for the letter to upload. Time to start studying,  estimated C time still showing February 2020.

Congratulations, I still don't understand the estimated case completion time process is very confusing in my case it showed September and now it's blank

I understand you back in May the processing time for N-400 for San Bernardino area was 4.5 to 6 months now is 10 to 13 months.

Had interview today in San Antonio, I waited outside, wife went in and the officer called me on the phone to ask about back taxes I owed. I explained to her everything is in the N400 packet I submitted. Well she gave me wife the test and she passed everything but checked the paperwork that said a decision couldn’t be made at this time. So she made me go do leg work, went and found a computer at the UPS store printed everything from the IRS showing I was current and took it back to the office. Mind you the same information was already in the packet. After that she approved my wife. Dang, this lady was mean and rude to me on the phone. I actually asked her why are you worried about me and she hung up the phone and sent my wife out with what I needed to show her. She then called me again and said what you brought back was already in your file, I said I told you that from the beginning. Oh well, she passed we are now waiting on the oath letter.
