You have an opportunity to get the CFO asap in Manila. They just opened all of May. From May 14-31.

I agree here.  Our first interview was January 19.  Visa arrived March 2.  We didn't expect any issues at the interview but we did.

Fairly easy to change a date on a plane ticket for most airlines.

 

I am in Philippines and had to reschedule a ticket home last week, it cost me about $800

Our interview was 02-21-19 and she picked up the visa at MOA on 03-07-19. I think you are being overly optimistic under the best of circumstances. Good Luck!

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

There's a remote possibility you will make the flight. Most likely you're in for an expensive change fee. For us, delivery was approx. 2-3 weeks after the interview. Like everybody always says, don't book tickets until visa in hand. Good luck.
