So they will ask who helped me complete the I-90?

They review your application.  

 

Then you wait.

 

If it's approved, they produce a new card and mail it out to you.

I’ve seen the processing times but they aren’t always accurate. Is there a thread I can follow like we have for AOS every month?

We got the dreaded RFE for our I-90 (name error- no fee) asking for the original GC. We sent the I-90 in Beginning of November last year. I got an update today that they received my RFE response so now the waiting game continues 🙄. I am not one of the fortunate ones who were not asked for the original.

No thread unless you create one. I-90 are a different lot because there are so many different reasons and application types for an I-90. Start one I am sure you will others to participate.

We got an RFE for the original - we send in photo copies originally last November and now have to wait even longer.

RFEs can be sent out at any time right up until the end, unfortunately...still remains to be seen if OP receives one for the original GC.

If he does, will add to processing time naturally.

In hindsight we wish we sent it in. You never know if things get lost but in the end it adds to the wait since the forms say it’s a requirement. Oh well 6 months and counting.......

Name error? You mean the married last name vs born name? 

 

I might get RFE too but do you recommend insuring it on sending it? My only issue is that the mail might get lost.

 

Also, did you send a copy of your PR Card?

 

What is your receipt date and when was your biometrics?

Did you send in color copies front/back?

 

The front counter checked my PR card as well as the person doing the fingerprints. I am not sure if that will help not getting a RFE.

Right. My only concern is lost mail. Insuring up to the actual fee plus biometrics for lost card will also cost money. What do you suggest?

I suggest sending it in if you get RFE'd for it.  There's always a chance of things getting lost in the mail, is a way of life at times.  You already know about the benefits of tracking and delivery.
