Hay guys, please help to share if u have same experience or know about this matter..

So i had my interview on May 2nd, 2019.. And thank God i get approved and the officer gave me white slip that mentioned my immigrant visa has been approved, they also take my passport.

But today i open website ceac to check my case number but it shows if my current status is under administration process.. But they don't contact me if they need another document.. Is this normal?? Or i should contact US embassy for explanation?

Thank you 😊🙏

As far as I know every case has AP on CEAC before going to issued.

I wouldn't worry if I was you, it will change to issued soon. Congrats!

P.S. When the immigrant visa on the top of that tab turns to non immigrant it will soon follow with issued.

It's completely normal based on people experiences here. Every approved case goes through AP before being issued. No need to worry, especially if they haven't asked for anything and kept your passport. You're probably days away from having the visa in your passport! Enjoy! Celebrate! You'll be with your loved one in no time! 😉

Issued is to follow! Don't be surprised if it changes to ready for a little bit, it happens, but it will change to issued in no time!

Business as usual. Congrats.

Edit: Nothing is official until the visa is actually issued, though. IN very rare cases, they find an ineligibility after the interview before issuing the visa.

It's an expression. It means this is nothing unusual.
