Hello from the Houston area also.

As mentioned above. AP is normal for everyone. Yes, a verbal approval is good, but nothing is actually approved until visa is "issued" and in hand. It can be denied during AP technically.

Now, AP can be 2-3 days, 2-3 weeks, 2-3 months, or even 1-2+ years. Been few members here stuck at 18+ months. It happens.

Philippines is generally pretty quick though, so really at this point should just relax and be patient.

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

02/03/2017 - Married

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

If everything is normal the embassy has been taking 12-14 days to issuance

This is a normal process. USEM is usually faster then other embassy. We see 2 week generally, that 10 business days. Did any one of us inform you that this is normal. If not this is normal process and you just need more patience. You're almost there. Travel over to Hank's website and ready the bottom portion on what happens and how you would be involved if you wanted to follow your case.  More of this :clock:

Here is my recommendation for tracking. Once your CEAC status changes to issued use Hank's recommendations to send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com with your passport # in the subject area.  Initially it will say "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted." This means that your passport is still at the embassy going through the printing process. When you get the reply "The current status of your passport is In Transit From Post" this means that your passport has been released for pickup by 2GO. It is then just a matter of hours or a few days until you receive the magical SMS from 2GO that your passport is ready for pickup or delivery is imminent. 🙂

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.
