Hi,

I tried applying for citizenship and I believed it helped the processing of the case.

Msc199077.....

Applied: March 2019

Bio: April 2019

Case is ready to be scheduled: June 2019

Did not hear anything for a whole year.

Status updated once again to ready to be scheduled for interview : May 2020

Applied for citizenship: September month end

Status updated to interview scheduled: October 1st 2020

Interview date received: October 5th 2020

Interview date: November 12th 2020

Case Approved:  December 4th 2020

We are still married. We submitted everything!

The interview was very laid back she went through all the documents that were submitted and told us our case will be approved shortly.

Congratulations!  Was the interview for I-751, N400 or combination?  Also, where (location) was your interview?  Many thanks!

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Hello everyone. My husband's I-751 was transferred from Texas Service Center to NBC. We applied August 2020. Early October USCIS notified us that old biometrics would be used. It was transferred November 10. We had an interview for AOS. We haven't received an RFE for ROC. The notice said it was transferred to NBC for faster processing. Case status online says we will assign the case to an officer. We will review your case and mail you our decision.

I've been told that all cases that go to NBC will have an interview. I've also been told NBC is now processing and making decisions on cases. From our case status is it safe to assume that we may not have an interview? Or is interview still possible? I figured if they want to interview us our case status would say we will be scheduled for interview. Any thoughts? Or anyone with a similar timeline/situation? Thanks

Hi there... so does the context of the notice specifically state " for faster processing " or "as part of standard process"...?

Thanks in anticipation of ur response...

Hi Seihu. The notice stated "In order to speed up processing". It also stated "That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information." We continue to wait.
