Yes - I filed on April 25th, 2019, received on April 30th. I am surprised as well, as I was not expecting to hear anything from them until at least June with the current trends at SRC. It was a joint petition.

It's almost as if covid-19 has sped things up. Makes me wonder if the people who normally work at field offices and interview people, now instead work on approving cases without interview. If maybe USCIS has divided the work on more people now, those who no longer can perform their regular tasks now do other things instead.

Any April 2019 files who qualify planning to file the N-400 soon?

Yes, we're preparing my husband's N-400 now! Still waiting for a decision on I-751; it was transferred to the NBC last month. We didn't have an interview for AOS, so I was expecting one for I-751. Just hopeful that we could be lucky enough to be approved again without interview; otherwise, we could be in a for a long wait.

I think it should not as we are already here and are legal residents.

Nobody knows anything yet, nothing has been signed. At this point it's only a Twitter post.

I highly doubt this will affect anybody who holds a greencard. The claimed reason behind this new EO is because of the virus and to save jobs for Americans. Greencard holders are already here and allowed to work. I have a feeling this only goes for the new people coming in. And like every other EO, there will be a lot of exceptions.

All,

I just checked my case status and MY CARD WAS MAILED TO ME YESTERDAY!!!!!! It says I should receive it by May 5, 2020.

Case number SRC 1900-340-XXX

Glad to be finally done with all this until I feel like applying for citizenship. Looks like all of our April 2019 cases are being pushed through now. Thank goodness for that in the midst of all this craziness.

Congratulations! I am a bit behind you in ticket numbers, and a lot of cases right next to me are getting traction except for me. Kind of depressing. Still it is good to hear that people are getting approved, especially without an interview.

Congratulations!

it's been a while since I posted but after yesterday's sh!ttweetstorm i figured i'd check in on my favorite forum.

We filed in April 2019 for ROC. I just checked and the last time our case status was update was May 9 2019 for fingerprints added.

No movement since then. Expiration of extension letter isn't until October, but I was assuming all USCIS processes had halted since March - is that not the case? People are still getting their cards?

No, the only parts that have been paused are the ones that require in-person meetings.

A lot of April 2019 filers have seen movement and gotten approvals from at least the California and Texas centers. So it seems like things have sped up lately. Considering what the processing times looked like when I filed in April last year I expected to be waiting at least 1,5 year. But I was approved in a little less than 1 year. So things are moving, my theory is that the people who now can't perform their regular tasks due to corona have been moved to do other tasks, like going through our petition perhaps. And maybe that's why it goes quicker now.

Also a lot of people who normally would have an interview for AOS, such as K-1ers and those who come here on tourist visas have also started getting approved without interviews. I bet USCIS don't want the cases to pile up while waiting for an interview, so they wave it. I have even seen one i-751 case at MSC getting approved without interview after having their interview cancelled. Crazy times!
