Not sure what CC/Dq mean? But NVC approved our case on July 4. Just trying to get an idea of when we will have her interview.

Hi everyone! New to this group. We received our DQ email for our CR1 on July 1 and also waiting anxiously for communication from NVC. Could you add me to the group too please, Kartinee?

Anyone on this group who chose Montreal as interview location and were only visitors in Canada at that time (not on work visa, or student visa, or PR, or citizen) ?

I'm pretty sure that you have to prove that you are a legal resident of Canada (so work visa, student visa, PR, or citizen) in order to use Montreal as your interview location. How are you in Canada for long enough to go through consular processing as a tourist?

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.
