Waiting time for Montreal Canada Interview

Good day all,

All documents and fees were approved and completed on my IR5 on March 7th 2019.  Notice from the NVC was that an interview would be scheduled at the Consulate and I would be notified by email or mail.  Does anybody know what the approximate turnover times are for the interview?  Can I expect an interview in April?

Thank you!

Hi! Did you submit documents by uploading at CEAC account? If so, what day? We just submitted ours last Tuesday April 2. How long before we receive a CASE COMPLETE e-mail? Thank you

To be clear, I am going in on an IR-5 visa, relative sponsorship.

Most here seem to be K1 or such, fiancé ones.

All documents were submitted through the CEAC account and were accepted and approved by the NVC.

I’ve not heard an interview date yet, the NVC approved everything on March 7th.

Hi all,

We received our interview today!  Exactly four weeks from now, May 14th.

We immediately scheduled the medical exam (consular approved doctor) which is next week, and I’ll go over all my documentation, both original and copies with a fine tooth comb.

Finally, the last step.

I’m always checking that part of the website and they only update it each week.   It’s been March 29 since Monday. 🤐

Yes. Got 2 documents rejected last April 17. Our attorney uploaded W2 in the TAX RETURN SECTION. So annoying. We paid them only to delay us. Big regret hiring them. ☹️
