There are LOADS of threads here on VJ about the Islamabad embassy.  Go to the MENA regional forum, and you will find hours of reading material there.

Get there early.  You'll be at the station for some time.  Our appointment was at 8am we got there about 630am we waited outside until they opened the doors.  You get a token from the shuttle service (1000 rps per head in October) then wait until your interview time is called.   When we went the shuttle area was super cold but I'm sure its warmer this time of the year.  Only bring your required documents in simple files (read the embassy instructions on what is allowed in) some people had to switch their items because they brought bags there were not allowed.

Don't forget your passport size photos and medical.

Stay calm and relaxed...Good luck!
