How long does it take between NVC and Bogota, CO consulate interview?

Hello VisaJourney's -

I was wondering what is the average wait time between having the NVC say my case is "DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED" and the NVC providing an interview date in bogota? My case has been "DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED" since Feb 13 and I still haven't received notice of an interview date for the consulate in Bogota and the state.gov site says my case is still at the NVC

Some background: This is a CR-1

@Beverlyr The medical exams will take about a week to a week and half. Once you get your notice you'll have anywhere between 15-20 days before your interview. Which means you better be prepared to fly out to get all those medical exams done before your interview date as soon as you receive it. You'll need to. You'll be given guides on step and will have to pay for your biometrics online.

Anyone know how long it's taking those documentarily qualified to get their interviews now? I've been qualified since November.

ALSO

I am starting a job in the USA on January 11th. Currently, I’m in Colombia. I’d like to do my child's CRBA appointment and renew my expired passport before then (it expired because we weren’t able to travel and the embassy shut down because of COVID).

Question 1: what are the steps for me to be the one present during the interview in lieu of my wife and child for the CRBA? (Paperwork, etc) We’re trying to avoid them traveling if possible because of the virus and I have to go to bogota for my passport anyways.

Question 2: How long does it take to renew a passport completely? And is this possible for me considering I need to be in the states on the 11th of January 2021?

Question 3:  How long does it take to get an emergency passport from the Bogota embassy so that I can travel back to the states on time? I’m trying to choose the best option for me in order to make it to my job on time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Walt

Thanks!
