I did not check the status of CEAC  until my fiance got a 221g and only after we submitted the documents. It shows READY and every days dates are being shown. I sent emails to check the status of the passport and it shows "The current status of your passport is Delivered To Post". So, it is still with the Embassy. We gave it on Monday, they should have received it on Tuesday. We just have Wednesday, Thursday. Friday hopefully we can get the passport with the Visa stamped. As, my fiance's flight is on Saturday morning from Mumbai. We are just praying that today Thursday we get the news to collect the passport.

your passport tracking says delivered to post but your CEAC says ready does not add up. Your CEAC  should say "issued" if there is any chance of making the flight. It could be a glitch so try emailing. Did you really just submit it on Monday because we submitted ours on the 19th and still didn't get visa

The embassy does state not to book flights until visa in hand. Hope it doesn't happen, but what if a visa error is discovered?

I hope you get the passport and visa in time.  Otherwise, this will be another example of "Do NOT book flights until visa in hand".

Nope, it is still in READY state. She did not make the flight. I had to cancel her tickets.

Yes, we are still seeing that nothing has been done so far. We lost our hopes that it will happen soon anytime. We have to cancel all our wedding plans. Spent a lot of money preparing and getting everything ready. So, it is all gone. Well there we go. Another lesson learnt. I just have 2 more days to fly her in if we have to leave for our wedding. I do not think so it will happen.

A2isha,

What is your status? Did you all give the passport and additional documents on February 19th? Any update on your status?
