Does anyone know if when Leaving Nigeria, the fiance will need to have a "a yellow card"? Apparently that was the requirement at the Lagos airport for any international travel.

Does anyone know if that is the case or is this just travel to other countries/ not USA?

Any information is appreciated:)

That's only required for non Nigerian citizens when going to Nigeria..He won't need it coming to the U.S. That's the purpose of his medicals..

It is best to have my husband has one it shows his records of immunizations. The medical records will be sealed and only opened once he reaches the states. Ask for one at his medical.

Hi.  My fiance will be coming into Wilmington NC International Airport & will not have the vaccination card.  I was told he will not need it, only the sealed envelope.  I hope that's the correct information.  If you find out anything different, please let me know.

He should be fine no worries he has gotten all of his needed immunizations at he medical exam so he will be ok. Could you ask him how much they charged him for medical in Nigeria? My husband will be going for his soon.

My fiance is Nigerian, but becaus he is not there right now, he will be going to the Dakar Senegal Embassy.  Medical in Dakar is between $279-$300.00.  I heard it's more where your husband is.  Unfortunately, the Nigerian and Senegal forums are not as active as others.  You have to dig around & see if you can find the info.  If I come across it, will gladly let you know.

Do you live in Charlotte?  Just relocated from MD to Jacksonville.  We are neighbors, lol.
