Our case was status changed from June 28, 2018  (NOA1) to February 1, 2019 but still shows "case received" does this mean we will be hearing from them soon?? I am so nervous!!  February will be the 8th since they received our case.

What do you mean the status changed? You mean the date changed?

Also where are you checking your status on the https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus or https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

If you don't have your case in myaccount do that. Seems the case status is not updating timely (I believe I heard it's going away). The myaccount is more up to date. Try that.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Please Please put your VJ member name only. Not nicknames or real names whatever your VJ name is. It's below your profile picture!!

Mines updated January 31, 2019 and I wonder what that suppose to mean. I hope it means they are working on our case..... It looks like we have the same PD and hopefully we will get approved soon ☺️

I just checked mine today and my PD is June 25th.. and now my USCIS status says “ last updated: 01/31/19 “ but still says recieved. So now IM TOO excited to see what happens.

Or itll be an RFE or a transfer. I just wish i knew. Haha

Every time you check the petition's status on the USCIS website, it will have that day's date as "last updated."  All that means is that the status shown, in your case "received," is current as of the date you checked.  It doesn't mean they have looked at it or done anything with it.  When the status category changes from "received" to something else, that means they have started to process it.  All you can do is keep checking and wait.  Every time you check the "last updated" date will change to the day you checked.  If your case is out of normal processing time, according to the USCIS website, you can submit an online inquiry.  Good luck!

Hmmmm I'm not sure abt that  because I've been checking since they received  June 28, 2018.   I checked several times in

October, November,  December January.....it all shows June 28, 2018 as the last update never that date I checked. I think they did something to my case.

It usually means they touched your case. Could be that it was scanned by one officer to work on, (s)he got assigned another task and scanned it to go back on the pile. So it could mean anything really. Don't get your hopes up too much that this means you hear something soon tho. You could, but it could also take a little while.

On a few different threads and an i130’fb page I’ve seen at least 6 people with the same situation. I wonder what it all means. Can’t help but get too pumped when something’s finally changed. Haha

fingers crossed
