Hello everyone, I saw a post or two regarding adminstrative process for Lebanese people, or I should say anyone who is dealing with the US embassy in Lebanon. anyway I have been in Ap since 24th of NOV 2018, last update 24 of Jan 2019 but still in AP, anyone having same experince or had this experince please reply with for how long your case has been in AP./how long it took to over come AP.

at this point it seems forever 😅😂😂

It is correct after the interview in Beirut it shows administrative processing to everybody in their check status. if they do not return your passport your visa will be prepared to be issued. When they issue the visa the check status will be changed from AP to issued

Is your visa immigrant or non-immigrant?

Did you see any case update between November and the last update on January 24?

We have an immigrant visa and have been waiting for a month now.

What are all y'alls visas for? K1, CR1, B1/B2, etc.

My passport was returned sadly but to renew it as they said only.😅

It is an immigrant visa, and first update was after my interview in July status: AP then another update on the 24th of NOV but also AP.

last update was on the 24th of Jan also still AP.

its annoying only cause there is no time frame,to be able to make a plan on what to do.

like okay will it be a year a month or 3 years. 😂😂😂

My visa is IR1.i had interviewed on Jan 16 they ask for W2 tax form. I sent the form the same day the status shows AP. Then they sent email they sent email they receive it . On Jan 22 they updated the status. Then Jan 25 updates the status. On Jan 28  changed status from AP to issued.with note how and when to return the passport

Your passport expired soon? What was the reason for your AP, did they say?

yeah it was due to expire in 9 months from interview, reason of AP I was living in Norway for ~10 months so they needed Police certification and asked me to file a DS-5535, which I did get the Police Certification from Norway and filed the DS form. and sent it ( that was like 4 months ago.. and still waiting in AP since then)

Not yet for me, mine is still in AP, on May 24 it will be 6 Months.

Mine is CR-1.

are you still waiting? my interview was in August 2018 and last updated in Oct 2018 and still AP, do you know any reference from someone about the answer time?
