K1 Approved in Casablanca!!!!!

I just want to let everyone know that my fiancé was approved in Casablanca on Friday for the K1. There are so many people online who say it is impossible and it won't happen, so I just wanted to spread the positive news. You can read more about our journey here: http://coolcathleen.com

Congrats but don't get too excited until visa is in hand. AP is looming and it can be quick or drag on forever. So just be patient now. Good luck.

Hmmm... the status still says "ready" but they kept his passport and gave him the information to register for Aramex. Could it go into AP?

Everyone goes into AP of some kind. Some last 2-3 days like ours did, some last 2-3 weeks, 2-3 months, even 1+ years. Been a couple people on recently who had been at 18 months in AP.

 

It isn't to "scare" you, it's good they kept the passport. Just be patient now and status should update soon. So hopefully for you it's a brief AP period.

It could, yes............but I must say that you overcame a lot of red flags....how many times did you visit him there?

I visited 3 times for a total of about 20 days before we applied, then 60 days between filing and the interview.

OP, how many visits did you make to visit him?  This will serve as a good reference for others who apply from this very difficult embassy.

Exactly! I was very worried about all of our red flags, but we were approved!

They have a knack about what is genuine and what is not, I am sure they have been doing this long enough to gauge what things are. As for me I have many of those so called "red flags" and take it day by day, it will be what it will be, congratulations on your approval and pregnancy....many years of continued happiness and love 😍😍
