On December 15, 2018 my AOS was delivered to the Chicago lock box, but as of today we have still yet to receive our NOA 1. I actually called USCIS yesterday and the rep just informed me that I will need to call back on the 15th. My question is has anyone experienced this and also does the government shutting down affect our timeline?

Your profile is not complete so it's hard to help you. Are you a K-1 or CR-1? CR-1's don't file an AOS but K-1's do.

To check on a cashed USPS money order follow these directions. Call 1-866-459-78221-866-459-7822 FREE. From there you will be prompted to enter the 11 digit number of your money order, the dollar amount, and the 6 digit post office code. All of these numbers are on the receipt that you hopefully kept (the smaller part you were left with after you tore off and mailed in the larger part).

After you have done this, the automated fellow will tell you that the number you have entered either "Matches" or "Does Not Match" their records. If it says that it "matches" that means that the money order you are asking about WAS NOT CASHED, and if it says "Does Not Match", that means WAS CASHED!

Again, "matches" = NOT CASHED, and "does not match" = CASHED.

Can you please complete your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Same boat. Our package was delivered December 18th via Fedex and we still don't have NOA1. I know at least two other people who are still waiting in the same time frame. USCIS told me that sometimes it takes 30 days to create NOA1. Right now all we can do is wait.

I also e-mailed lockbox support, but it takes them 15 days to get back to you.

I'm sorry that you're also in this situation. It can be very frustrating.

So today finally got our NOA messages. EAD/AP says they did receive it Dec 18th. I-485 says they processed the fingerprint fee on Jan 8.

I hope yours will come ASAP too!
