  1. Thank you, We definitely appreciate this. I’ll just sit back and wait .
  2. This document is the only travel form that I’ve found on their website.
  3. Good Evening, I was wondering if any one has any answers to my dilemma. My husbands AOS per K1 has been rejected twice first for the fees, and the next it was an expired I-485 document that I mistakenly sent on both the first and second time. The question I have is, now that we have resubmitted with all the documents in order is, why has the travel document been updated in reference to the year? At this time I am so scared that it will get rejected due to this.
  4. Thank you, I was really freaking out over here, but I'll try to be patient.
  5. I actually chose to use a money order through USPS so I am not sure.
  6. On December 15, 2018 my AOS was delivered to the Chicago lock box, but as of today we have still yet to receive our NOA 1. I actually called USCIS yesterday and the rep just informed me that I will need to call back on the 15th. My question is has anyone experienced this and also does the government shutting down affect our timeline?

    Petitioner/AOS Inquiry

Thank you all and I appreciate the quick response.
  9. Good Evening, If you all would please help me, I need clarification in reference to two different questions. My fiancé will finally be flying to America within the next few weeks and I wanted to know if he'll come across a problem at customs. As of now I reside in Ny, but I work for the government and was called to NC in order to help with the hurricane. So, my question is will he have a problem due to the fact that he will not be flying into my residential state? By the way I have provided him will all of my deployment orders. My second question revolves around the fact that because I don't know when I will be returning home will he be able to attend his biometrics appt anywhere we are, or does it have to been in NY?
  10. I haven't experienced the name error, but last month the nvc office submitted my application to the wrong country. Unfortunately, once they send it off they really will not assist you. My advice is to make sure that you jump on the issue and contact the embassy, that's what I did.

Be sure that you verify that the nvc sends it to the right country. I received notice after 16 days, but then they mailed it to the wrong country. Keep in mind I had spoken to them the day before.
  12. My case took approximately 16 days, but then of course they sent it to the wrong country afterwards.
