passport delayed after k-1 interview in Montreal

My fiancée’s K-1 interview was in Montreal on Dec 21st. The interviewer told her she was approved and gave her a pink sheet which said expect to receive your visa in less than two weeks. The CEAC status remained ready for interview until it changed to administrative processing on Dec 31. No updates yet. Wednesday will be 3 weeks since the interview and it still hasn’t shipped. Has anyone had recent experience with Montreal or know if it should ship soon?

We have called the consulate’s call center and the line disconnects when we select to speak with an agent. The direct line gives an automated message and disconnects without the option to speak with someone. When we email they say they can’t provide any details until it ships.

Just coming out of the holiday slowdown.  They are most likely backed up.   Administrative processing is normal.

YMMV

Non immigrant

It flips to non immigrant right before they issue.  Patience.  You are impacted by holiday backlog

YMMV

Hi - same boat. I was approved on Nov 21, and put in AP two days later.

Supposedly most AP cases are processed within 60 days. Might be less for you if you weren’t asked supplemental questions like i was under DS-5535.
