Why Another Index Fingerprinted And Photos Taken At InfoPass Appointment (merged)

Hello Honorable Members,

I Need Advice Please,I am Still Waiting For My 10 Years GC After Interviewed in 10/12/2017 And Approved. The GC Refused To Arrives And With Too Many InfoPass Appointments Yielded No Results.They Kept Saying My Case Is Waiting To Be Adjudicated. Its Almost  3 Years When I Filed  Now. Today I Went To Another InfoPass Appointment And The Officer Had To Take Photograph Of Me After Looking Into My Case .He Also Fingerprinted My Index Fingers. Now What Really Does This Means? Does It Means My Photograph Is No More In Their System And Fingerprints Also Disappear??? So Confuse And I Need Help. Thanks

So you removed conditions to get 10 year green card and had interview 1 year ago and still nothing?

 

What exactly do they say when you submit a service request or at Infopass? I'm confused because the title of this post has nothing to do with with you have posted.

Also FYI you were eligible to file for Citizenship last year you can file that now also while you wait for I-751.

my bro yes still nothing. when i went to the infopass appointment today,the officer said my case is still waiting to be adjudicated. I asked adjudication taking over a year and he said yes.My question is,why did he have to take photograph and index fingerprints when adjudication is still going on??? Does it mean my fingerprints and photos submitted are no more in their system?

I think it’s standard procedure to get photo and fingerprint scan whenever you check in. It is probably a fraud prevention.

Biometrics, once captured, are only valid for 15 months. Yours probably expired.

I don't know if that was the case here---seems the OP had his ROC approved since 2017---just the physical card still hasn't been produced/arrived in the mail for some reason....so presumably he would have completed the ROC background checks if he received his approval  in Oct. 2017...  At this point I wonder if the OP's case somehow slipped through the cracks/photo and/or prints lost between approval and card production, hence the retaking of biometrics to finally produce the actual card. 😕

Well he says it was both approved but then also waiting to be adjudicated in the first post. Assuming USCIS came to adjudicate it and his biometrics had expired in the meantime, that would explain why they needed new ones.

 

It's certainly an unusual case though. I'd be hitting up both one of my congressional representatives and the CIS Ombudsman to try and get things going.

Took a look at OP's previous postings to try to find more clarification.  Past threads put more meat on the bones.

 

Also, OP, can you clarify if you ever did file the AR-11 address change as advised to in other threads?
