how can i know if they saw the info and everything is good its been almost 2 weeks and i dont even know whats going on

Bro you can call them , the NVC trying to confirm whether they did receive it or not ,and most probably it takes six months or more sometimes before they finish cases like that !

Good luck .

It doesn't workout like that , when NVC  finished with working on your paper , it will be send to the Embassy and the Embassy will let you know what to do next !

"Accepted" probably means "uploaded successfully"......not "approved"  The consulate (embassy) is the ultimate approval authority for all visas.  NVC collects documents, but they cannot approve any visa.

We’ve chatted before because we were in the same situation. What proof of evidence did you attached for your joint sponsor? For me, I included:

1. I864- signed and scanned copy

2. Sponsor’s citizenship (naturalization certificate)

3. Tax transcript

4. Tax return

5. 1040

6. W2

7. Pay stubs for the past 6 months

8. Bank statements and retirement statement for proof of domicile

I wanted to make sure that we provided everything because we didn’t want another 221(g). We were approved in 2 weeks after submission.

Did they keep the passport?

For my hubby, even after giving him 221(g), they asked to get his finger prints and kept his passport.

You said they updated the date. The CEAC updated twice before it changed to “Issued”
