I just got it. October 1 at 8:00 am

Great news! I'm not scared because I have my interview September 27, I went ahead and booked vacation for the 1st week of October since I figured I wouldn't hear anything until the very end of the year, I'm hoping now they won't schedule the oath until over a week later at least

Dallas filer here as well and just got a notification this morning that interview has been scheduled.

However, my husband is scheduled to go Navy bootcamp on Monday as a greencard holder.

Does anyone know how do we cancel the scheduled interview? Can I call in behalf of my husband?

I know We should’ve not applied for citizenship since he’s going to get it in the military anyway. But him enlisting in the military has been a long process too (as a green card holder). So we decided to file for citizenship regardless if he is able to go to military or not.

We had our oath ceremony yesterday. What a special day! It took about 2 hours. There were 56 people from 32 countries getting naturalized. A German chorus came and led us in singing the national anthem and America the Beautiful. A friend of ours who is a photographer came along and took pictures. It was a lovely end to this 5 year journey.

The weirdest thing with us - I hadn't seen any updates on the uscis.gov site.  Still with the March message that the interview was scheduled - which was held in Tucson.  However, since he didn't meet the residency requirement, the IO didn't conduct the USC interview.  Understandable.  Why did I log into the DHS site today and the status says as of September 14th: "You attended your interview.  You do not need to do anything at this time"???

So a phone call to the USCIS is planned for tomorrow.  We don't have any additional correspondence in the documents tab.  Also, the case completion time decreased to December 2019.  So maybe he's done and we just don't know?  My fear is that they think they sent an interview letter, didn't update the system, and he missed a scheduled USC interview?

Signature coming soon...
