Do you mean Jan 24th interview ?  You just posted this info that you just got that interview appointment and that seems like very short notice.

As LenaT posted the medical admin phone number, try calling them near lunch time after the holidays.  During other working hours the staff is overwhelmed.  Things have really changed in my experience over the last 3 years.  The medical admin staff has been reduced greatly in the last year. They will have your email request.  It appears you really need to get their attention asap because of the embassy appointment short notice. Just try before and after lunchtime Moscow time.

Yes, it is for January 24! We've been going a little crazy but he made it down there and took the medical exam yesterday. They emailed him the appointment for it. He was in there all day with a lot of waiting but he was happy that the staff were really good, treated him well, and he felt calm. So glad because he was so worried and nervous. He said the head doctor came in and addressed them not to worry. It would take some time but everything was fine. He was exhausted and hungry but happy at the end of the day. Relieved. It looks like even though it's stressful for the consulate workers with the shortage they are doing the best they can.

Looks like Interview Scheduling is now running strong! We booked ours last week the day the calendar was open for us and its for next week. And it sounds like most, or all, of the girls in the WhatsApp Chat have been scheduled.

Can I ask about the WhatsApp Chat group please, seems it helping a lot

Absolutely! There are 2 main What'sApp Groups. The Ladies Group is Russian Beneficiaries (mostly women, but there is a man or two). They help out with questions and answers. There is a second ladies group for once you are in the Interview Scheduling phase, and that second group notifies you when there are available appointments. Basically each participate has a designated time to call to see if the calendar is open and every hour or so someone comments YES or NO. That is the only action in that group.

There is also a Men's Group. It is a little less intense than the ladies (ok a lot less intense!). We also provide support to one another based on where we are at in the process. Answer questions and such.

Oh! I wish I had known there was a men's group. He would not join the ladies! LoL Fortunately, it has worked out so far. We are waiting for the visa to arrive.

Best of luck! Yeah, Russian male beneficiaries are quite rare compared to Russian females. My husband was one of the few here on VJ back when we were in the process of our doing the spousal visa.

waiting for the passport with visa to arrive in Yakutsk

Or by Yak?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
