Moving and filing I-751... questions?

Hello all!

That time has come where we are to file our I-751. The first day we can mail the packet is October 21st (2 Year Green Card Expires 1/19/2019). We are currently in an apartment lease and moving on 11/2/2018 (in two weeks from now). Should we wait until we move to file the I-751 with our new address? It doesn't make sense to me to file now with the old address or can we file now and use the new address, but that might look suspicious if we file with an address we're not living at yet and submit a lease that hasn't started?

I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I would wait the 2 weeks to file. Makes more sense than trying to do the change of address. That can cause problems.

Thank you both for the tips! Can we file the AR-11 and I-865 now or should we wait until the new lease takes effect?

It's supposed to be after moving, but it really doesn't matter. They may send a confirmation back, so you want to be moved in by then.

I would wait till you are in your new place to file anything. It saves any hassles,\.
