Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

Congressional investigators have confirmed that a top FBI official met with Democratic Party lawyers to talk about allegations of Donald Trump-Russia collusion weeks before the 2016 election, and before the bureau secured a search warrant targeting Trump’s campaign.

Former FBI general counsel James Baker met during the 2016 season with at least one attorney from Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee’s private law firm.

That’s the firm used by the DNC and Hillary  campaign to secretly pay research firm Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence operative, to compile a dossier of uncorroborated raw intelligence alleging Trump and Moscow were colluding to hijack the presidential election.

The dossier, though mostly unverified, was then used by the FBI as the main evidence seeking a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant targeting the Trump campaign in the final days of the campaign.

The revelation was confirmed both in contemporaneous evidence and testimony secured by a joint investigation by Republicans on the House Judiciary and Government Oversight committees, my source tells me.

It means the FBI had good reason to suspect the dossier was connected to the DNC’s main law firm and was the product of a Democratic opposition-research effort to defeat Trump — yet failed to disclose that information to the FISA court in October 2016, when the bureau applied for a FISA warrant to surveil Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

“This is a bombshell that unequivocally shows the real collusion was between the FBI and Donald Trump’s opposition — the DNC, Hillary and a Trump-hating British intel officer — to hijack the election, rather than some conspiracy between Putin and Trump,” a knowledgeable source told me.

I wish there was a "SMH" button.....good lord!  IDK if I should laugh or cry!  I shouldn't be shocked - the truth always comes out eventually, but the lengths the Left has gone to - the brutally apparent mission to destroy the rule of law that frames our Nation's strength and the Constitution upon which it's founded is heartbreaking, enraging, disgusting, and even pathetic.  I know that the Left and Right are both wings of the same bird (I tend to vote Libertarian or Constitution party) but dayum! I really truly hope that all of this serves to wake up America to the importance of being active in the political process.  At the end of the day, it's on us, the US Citizen.  The mess in Congress is our fault.  It's our responsibility to limit the terms with our votes each cycle.  It's our responsibility to be informed and involved.  I'd love nothing more than to see a whole string of candidates hit the ballots who are simply "average Americans" - Housewives, Small Business Owners, heck - even retail clerks!  I don't care if they don't have a lick of "legal" or "political" experience.  I do think intelligence does matter, and basic common sense.  If the laws can't be understood fully by an average intelligent American, then they shouldn't even be passed. 

 

The "Lords/Ladies/Barons/Baronesses" who are "grooming their offspring to follow in their footsteps and take on the family legacy" that our "Congress" has become can be overthrown.  Give me the owner of the local hardware store, who can confidently speak his mind and express plain old fashioned sense any day over some rich, Ivy League law school candidate any day of the week!  Heck - they could even be running on a more liberal or even Democratic platform!  WE THE PEOPLE are the ONLY ones ultimately responsible for our freedom, our rights, and our governance.  It was fought for, bled for, and handed to us to nurture and uphold.  If we don't wake up to these tactics (again - both parties have well developed histories of being dirty), take our responsibility seriously, and do something about it - we are going to lose it. 

 

I'd even go so far as to say that there is a very well funded agenda (or set of agendas) to see the strength of the independence our democratic republic holds destroyed. I think Obama weakened us horribly and Hillary was supposed to "run the ball" through the end zone until we were "properly subdued" within the more global politic (treaties, trade agreements, UN, etc).  I think Trump threw a wrench in that plan because he's not a "DC Darling" and can't be controlled.  I think the weakness we've seen the Republican members of congress show, the "wishy washy" failure to commit to much of anything is because they have already agreed to be a part of the plan - to play a role that "appears to be" in opposition, but in truth does as little as possible while the Dems resort to outright war on the Constitution.  Someone(s) in rich and powerful places want to see America become a socialist nation.  They want us weak.  Putin wouldn't have colluded with Trump - he knows that we would have been much easier pickings and he'd be much better able to topple us as a super power under Hillary.  I know, I'm sounding all "conspiracy theorist", and no I don't think it's all "Illuminati" (scary "oooooooooohhhh" sound inserted here) or "The Free Masons" or the "EU" or whoever the big name "evils" are.  I don't think it's one singular "organization" with an agenda.  I don't even know how well organized it is.  I think, perhaps, we have something more of a conglomerate of entities or individuals who are doing more of a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of thing.  Each seeing how their smaller agenda is benefited by supporting the other's - so they each give their little push here, donations there, etc etc until we have the mess we're in now.
