Hello everyone, there we all go again through another process, I just sent my package yesterday on overnight and It already arrived according with USPS. Hopefully I get updates soon from USCIS since I'm filling a week before my GC expires! Good luck to everyone!

Hey dannym, we should have about the same timeline. Sent mine yesterday as well. Good luck! I did priority mail but usps told me my package should arrive today. Wishing us all the best and seamless process...

I just realized that the e-notification form was suppossed to be placed as the front page of the application. I, however, placed it after our cover letter and payment... Do you think I would still get e-notifications or would they just immediately assume that I did not request for e-notifications?

Oooooh man. I knew I was forgetting something. I completely didn’t even do an e-notification form. Whoops. Guess we’re going old-school for this leg of the process.

Anyway, I just got back from the Post Office! I didn’t spring for overnight, figure with the weekend it won’t get touched until Monday anyway. Hope all goes well!

I didn’t even realize I could do the e-notification until the last minute when I double checked the I-751 instructions lol... And since I rushed, I wasn’t able to put the form in front of our application. Lol Anyway, we should receive the notification in the mail eitherway and that’s the more important piece of document to extend our green cards... Yeah, no use overnighting it.. You save $17 dollars by just doing priority mail and it shouldn’t be much of a time difference unless you’re sending your application the last minute.. The important thing is you get tracking.. Mine shows that our package was received today in Phoenix. Wohoo!

Yes! I made sure to ask for tracking and the guy at the post office was just like “yeah, I already got that for you duh” he saw I was sending to USCIS and must of just knew the best option I guess, because he made a comment about it ha.

The instructions on here didn’t mention the e-notification form and since it’s been 2 years since I did immigration stuff I completely forgot it was even a thing. I’m sure you will be okay with it being in a different order. They break it up and look at it all anyway!

Haha yeah, you should be set 👍🏻

About the e-notification, I guess we’ll find out. Not gonna stress about it..hehe the important thing is that they process our application Lol...

Is it true that interviews are now required for every I-751? I can’t seem to find any updates about it on USCIS’ website, but some lawyer sites are saying that they now do under the Trump administration. I wonder if any of that is true...

All I know is that I’m fully expecting an interview. My husbands K-1 interview lasted literally 5 minutes and we got our AOS approved without an interview so I think we are definitely due for some interview karma.

I can say I worked as a legal assistant for an immigration law firm for a year in the beginning of  the Trump administration and every single one of my clients had interviews with their I-751s. 90% of the people I worked with were low income and from Mexico though, so the scrutiny on them was probably much more skewed than an average applicant. 🙄 so it’s hard to say what the rate is on average.

I know our case personally is a little weak. At 24 and 21 we just don’t HAVE a lot of financials to mingle even if we wanted to. But we will see how it works out!

Wow! Everyone one of them had an interview? Dang... I still see some other people on other forums that were recently approved without rfe nor interview... Well, let’s just hope for the best. Hopefully, this process will be fast, easy, and no hick ups for all of us...praying 🙏🏻

So my message has not changed when I checked my account on the USCIS site. its still saying

                                                            We received your case

You do not have to do anything at this time

We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.

was hoping for it to say you should get your I-797 letter in 30 days or call message like others on here received. When I called the 800# and put my receipt number it says that receipt number is not in the system. Anyone else experiencing this?

Estimated delivery date got pushed back to tomorrow.

I guess I can’t be too annoyed when we were the ones who sent everything in a few weeks later than the 90 day pre-expiry date due to procrastination and a lack of organization 😋

Got my text with receipt number. Our case was sent to Vermont. When I try using the number on any of the case status links I don't see anything yet. Oh well. I'll keep checking.
