Speaking of applying for N-400, has anyone heard of anyone applying for it WITHOUT their green card on hand?

As previously stated in one of my posts, my wife's green card and extension letter were both stolen along with her wallet and purse.  She can't get a replacement green card (although I wouldn't want to pay the fee for it now since her I-751 is pending and she has an I-551 stamp anyways) because it was expired.  When she recently went to get her I-551 stamp renewed (she had one originally because her extension letter got lost in the mail), the officer at our local office told her to go ahead and apply and that her green card wasn't needed and that the application would just go to them anyways, however, the system stated that a scanned green card was part of the required documentation when we started the process online.

My husband still hasn’t made up his mind on citizenship yet (I’m the USC). He has been able to file for a while now if he wants to. Knowing him he will decide he wants to apply as soon as the proposed fee increases actually go into place.

Okay well then he just have to wait.

Oh!! Okay, I thought you got your case approved already. Well, SRC is moving fast now, so let’s hope for the best. So far that I have seen on case tracker, 8 people had been approved. You don’t have RFE I supposed, because as you might have been aware, RFE slows the entire process down. Good luck

Good morning!! I woke up with good news. Our case got approved today, January 9, 2020. The status changed from transferred to a new card being processed. We never received any notification on why our case was transferred. I hope your case is next!
