My hubby green card status still says In Process and we still waiting to receive his SSC.

The funny thing is my hubby POE was September 20 at LAX, I am very patient when dealing with USCIS because I know it is not by first come first serve service lol. USCIS received his process papers on September 22 and on October 12 his green card status changed from received to accepted. I am hopeful by Friday we will know for sure if his green card is in the mail.

@Abies  happy you have received your green card 💃

Yes. But does that go for documents too? Me and this other applicant from Khartoum sent in a certificate of good conduct with our civil documents from Malaydia. NVC accepted mine but refused his. They were both issued from the Malaysian embassy in khartoum but nvc told him it was the wrong authority issuing it. Mine went through so i was wondering what are the chances they say something at the interview.

Ps. Congratulations for getting the green card!

Yea.. as far as Visa processing is concern, the embassy has the last/final say

@Abies  happy you have received your green card 💃

Its same process with the NOA2,randomly done but it's usually within 120days to receive the green card in the mail. USCIS is known to be very inconsistent.

@valentinasc and I also had our POE at LAX and landed 1 and 2days after your husband landed. It's really a crazy process. @Ajt3 is yet to receive her SSC and GC even when she landed same day with your husband but different POE.

Fingers crossed for you guys.

My POE was indeed Friday September 21 at LAX ..

Im very grateful in being able to have obtained ssc in 7 days and gc 3 weeks after entering the country.

Even if I had to wait longer it was going to be ok, being with my husband everyday is everything to me :) The dark days are over.

Now the next step for me will be to Remove Conditions in 2 years and I found out I’ll be able to skip the interview !

But for now enjoy life and my husband !

Anyone from Ukraine who got an interview scheduled for November? Our NVC case was completed on 28th of September and we still are waiting

I would suggest calling NVC. Thats what I did and I learned that our interview date has already been scheduled but, we havent received the letter yet. Our cc was september 21 for Turkey, they seem to be scheduling interviews for september cc's.

We called them pretty much every day last week. When did you get your interview scheduled? And what date is your interview scheduled for for? Thank you for your response)

Yea.. we will be filing the i751 same time around June/July 2020.

I'm hopeful my interview will also be waived because a well documented filed i751 will be approved without an intervew.

Started gathering my documents for ROC since I entered the US last month because it will save me a whole lot.🤣

We will be creating a WhatsApp group for it soon especially for us that landed around the same time.🙂

I am also enjoying my husband and marriage life. Since he has arrived every weekend we have a program to go to. I don't mine the wait, keep in mind that you can send the Removal of Conditions 90 days before the two years Anniversary.

I’m so confused again. Been told by other members here on VJ I have to look for when my gc expires and do ROC 90 days before?

How do you find a job?  Is it hard? Is it possible to find a job before you enter USA?

I haven’t gotten a job yet. I’ve got offers but haven’t accepted any because the schedule was very different to my husband.

Look up on Graigslist and indeed for jobs
