Like the IO said, may take up to 60 days.

If the interview was on August 21, it's been 15 days (not including holidays and weekends).

The wait is the hardest part---you're almost there---good luck and hope you hear something soon :)

I was in a similar situation but in LA. The interview went well, but they're missing my original I-129F document (the K1 visa petition). It wasn't my / our fault. They told me they'll get back in two weeks. Our interview was 12 Dec. on 30 December I received my green card. Good luck, all the best, you're almost there.

Best

It's actually not typical to be approved on the spot. Wait for documentation or approval in the mail. If you receive an RFE for some reason, cross that bridge when you come to it, and don't stress! 😉

I wouldn't begin to fret very much until maybe end of October, based on the dates you gave. 60 days probably doesn't necessarily mean 60 calendar days, particularly when there are two federal holidays within that timeframe (Labor Day and Columbus Day). As others have said, it's typical not to be approved on the spot, so doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong.

Håll ut, y'all.
