N400 is the citizenship application. I already applied I had interview for both on the same day- November 20- combo interview. I applied for citizenship July 2019 while I was waiting on i-751.

They asked me one question really about our marriage. The CO just said "tell me about you, how you met and up to now and I want to hear a little from both of you". We gave him a quick run down about how we met, got engaged etc until now. Then he went through the application form to update anything like our address, my job and make sure everything was accurate like our as numbers etc.

Both applications were approved and they mailed my card and today I got a notification that they mailed my Oath Ceremony date notice. That's all I'm waiting on now.

We have similar timeline. I was almost sure, or assumed, yours was completed and a US Citizen now. The good thing is you already have done the interview, mine is still in the pipeline, waiting for the interview. I think I read somewhere there is some talk about what to do with the cases who have filed for N-400 but have a pending i-751. They were gonna have discussions on what to do to make things better, but I haven't read anything since. The "talk" is probably still in the discussion phase. In the meantime, we the applicants are stuck in limbo while they decide what to do.

Still no update. The myUSCIS site simply says “it is taking longer than usual to process your case. You do not need to do anything.”

This is hugely frustrating and neither the service center nor my local office will say anything other than the above. Not sure I’ve come across a case where citizenship was recommended but the concurrently adjudicated I-751 case dragged on for 5 months (so far) with no contact, no requests for more info, nothing.

And so we wait.
