Hi sir,I have my F2A interview on 30 August. My father’s tax preparer has e-filed 2018 tax return (1040) but my father still owes like $ 4,192 on the 1040 form.Sir I need my parents 2018 tax transcript. If they pay off the remaining directly at the local IRS office, will my parents be able to attain 2018 tax transcript before my interview date?Sir do they need to make a appointment for this prior to visiting the IRS office?IF so,How many days after making an appointment with the local IRS office,my parents can visit them?

I think you're asking at the wrong forum. 🤔 and  your parents can request transcript online and they'll mail it you or parents

You'll find my more answers here related to your case

Congrats to everyone... I'm noticing that most of the approvals are from persons who didn't do their biometrics until this year vs those who got bio apps soon after filing... Also were most of you originally K1? Most people don't have a timeline.

I was wondering the same. Approvals less than a year and some us still waiting?

Only approvals I've seen has been Nebraska. For obvious reasons, less pressure on their office. Compared to CA or any other big state.

Still seems crazy that approval is based on where you submit versus when.

Meh it is what it is, still uber happy to live in CA. So just dealing with it. Wouldn't want to live in that state lol.

Why do you think there is less pressure in California service center?

The volume of application is lot higher than Nebraska.  So it feels like approvals are moving at snails pace.

I think he/she meant there’s more pressure in CA service center and bigger states than Nebraska one. Dealing with the same thing in Texas.

Yes, I meant to write _more_ instead of less

Looking at the processing times as of today Nebraska is arguably the worst overall.
