Hello everyone!!!

I have not had the time to read everything but wanted to re-confirm a few things.

We got approved 26/9/2018

A simple "yes" or "no" is fine.

1. Can the DS-160 form be filed already? I think this is a yes Yes and No. Most Embassy's allow you to do it ahead but some don't so refer to the P3 letter or website for your Embassy.

2. Can I call for my case number 10 days after NOA approval? I think this is a yes Yes

3. Once I fill out the online DS-160 form, do I need the case number to schedule a medical exam? Depends again on your Embassy.

4. Do I need the hard copy NOA2 to schedule the interview No as most Embassy's don't require it. Again depends on your Embassy.

5. Does the petitioner send the support documents to NVC or does petitioner sends those docs to the beneficiary for the beneficiary to take for interview at to local country embassy?

6. Does the petitioner need to fill out the I-134 and send before scheduling the interview? No. It's only needed at the interview. See below of additional items need to along with the I-134. Be sure all documents are current from this list.

7. Do I need to pay for the DS-160 before scheduling the interview? There is no fee for the DS-160. I know many refer to it that way but that's inaccurate information. You are paying the interview fee and yes it must be paid prior to the interview.

I do understand that all docs need to be on hand for interview. I just want to know if the interview can be scheduled before getting them all tangibly.

Check the website for the US Embassy in Poland for instructions as that is where your interview will take place.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

@Greenbaum  No, what I meant to ask was if I use the online form 2 different times - 1st time to update petitioner's email and 2nd time to update my email address, then how will both email addresses be updated ?

In this case won;t their database automatically use the latest email address updated?

Go to the website and enter in both email address then you are sure that both have been submitted. Let NVC sort it out as their software is set up to do that.

Looking at the graphic you posted and next to the "case number" it looks like you may have blacked or erased the number that was there. Is that the case?

Then if that is the WAC your case has more time to "cook". It's like lechon, it's not done till its done. :jest: Here is some information to help you once you receive your case number. Please save it as it will cut your processing time in half. Look over what is needed and begin to gather the documents.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.
